Note:
This is not a beginner’s book. It is best if you can already bend. Quite a few of the licks require tongue splits, so you should be ready to learn or already be starting to. If you meet these requirements it is definitely a great book to purchase.

Note:
Paul Butterfield takes a simple lick and shows you how to incorporate endless variations, plus all the other standard harmonica stuff you would expect in a learning book. Once you learn his tricks and variations you can improve you own licks considerably. But hey – like all other books you got to work a it.
Work at it and you WILL improve!

Note:
This is one of the most suitable books for a blues beginner or beginner at harp. John explains the ins-and-outs of several blues techniques and gives you some good intro to blues licks.

Note:
Don baker is good teacher for a student that is new at blues. The free harmonica probably isn’t all that great but it is always nice to have a cheap spare to keep in your car or truck so you can practice when forced to wait on trains, appointments, people, or whatever.

Note:
I know nothing of this book but that Glen is a respected teacher and good harmonica player. I have one of his books on Fiddle Tunes for the Harmnica or I would not coent on him.

I have been playing harmonica for about 4 years now. These are some of the books that helped me
become able to play at blues jams. If you take what these books teach you and play them against
various 12-bar blues jam tracks you will improve noticeably. But there is no debating it – you
have to work at it – and it is worth it. Many wish to be play the blues – few actually do it!
Sadly, I have to work a day job - but just give me 10 more years and I just may surprise you!
If any of these books truly help or inspire you, please return to buy a harp some time. I am an affiliate of one of the best priced merchants on the web so you wont find much better prices.
Thanks for visiting!
