document is written for setting up MS Outlook Express for e-mail service at

Get a personalized e-mail address: |

1. Open Outlook Express.
Look
to the menu bar and find “File”. (Upper left corner)
2. Click File.
Click “Identities” in the drop down menu
Click “Add New Identity”
3. The New Identity
dialogue box opens.
Enter your name in the box provided.
*Check small box named “Require Password” only if you
wish to disallow other users from gaining access
to your address. Checking the box requires a password to access the new
identity.
Fill out
the “Enter Password Box” and do not forget it.
Click OK.
4. The “Identity Added:
box opens.
Click “Yes”.
5. A box named “Outlook
Express” opens. Answer according to your preferences.
6. The “Internet
Connection Wizard” box opens.
Enter your name, as you would like it to appear.
Click “Next”.
7. Enter your new email
address in the box titled “E-mail Address:”
Your Name followed by @globalbytes.net
Looks
like: name @globalbytes.net
8. Now the “E-mail
Server names” box appears.
For box 1 - use POP3 as your incoming mail server.
For box 2 - enter “mail.globalbytes.net” DO NOT use the
“quotation” marks!
It
should look like this - mail.globalbytes.net
For box 3 Outgoing SMPT server use the same address,
mail.globalbytes.net
Click “next”.
9. Fill in your account
Name followed by @globalbytes.net
Looks like this:
Name @globalbytes.net
Fill in your password.
Click Next.
10. Congratulations. You
have just configured Outlook Express.
